We love all the good boys and girls out there. They work hard at being our best friends and nature can be pretty hard on their paws. Our small batch dog balm/wax was made with our furry friend's paws in mind. We use hemp seed oil as it is the perfect source for essential fatty acids and antioxidants. It is a super absorb-er, which makes for a moisturizing less greasy balm. We also pumped it full of calendula infused organic olive oil. For centuries calendula (common pot marigold flower) has been used for quick relief for pain and swelling. Its antimicrobial properties help speed along healing. The oatmeal creates a barrier on the paw attracting moisture and reducing friction, preventing cracking and chapped paws. Comes in a .5oz twist tube for no mess application. Goes on like a dream. Use every evening before bed to protect and sooth against the heat and dry winters. Or twice a week for the less active pups who prefer the indoor life.
Ingredients: Coconut oil, hemp seed oil, shea butter, beeswax, calendula infused organic olive oil, jojoba, oatmeal, vitamin e
How I use it: three times a week on our adorably lazy lab and one for my own elbows knees and toes
How I think you should store it: Cool, dark place baby. Balms don't like the heat.
What you shouldn't do with it: Don't use this on cats. Like ever.
What you should do if it becomes too soft: Stick it in the fridge for a bit. A warm balm is a soft balm.
